About

What to Expect at NewSpring Leadership College

At NewSpring Leadership College, We Want to Develop the Entire Person of a Leader—Their Head, Heart and Their Hands.

NewSpring Leadership College exists to raise leaders for the local church.

These are the seven behaviors our staff and leaders seek to model for our students as well as draw out from our students.

We believe these values, coupled with an intentional relationship with Jesus, will lead to students gaining leadership influence wherever God places them in ministry.

  • Humility - We go first in being last.
  • Integrity - We do the right thing because it’s the right thing.
  • Grit - We do whatever it takes. Maximum effort is our bare minimum.
  • Hunger - We refuse to be satisfied with yesterday’s success.
  • Passion - Our deepest beliefs move us to move others.
  • Love - We are marked by a love for Jesus and His people.
  • Excellence - We do common things in an uncommon way.

At NewSpring Leadership College, You Will...

  • Grow in your understanding of the Bible and what you believe.
  • Understand the importance and role of the local church.
  • Develop foundational leadership skills.
  • Begin to discover your best fit in ministry.
  • Develop relationships with other students, college staff and ministry leaders.

As a Graduate of NewSpring Leadership College...

  • You’ll be prepared to do ministry within the local church.
  • Your experiences and training will help you lead in environments beyond the walls of the church.
  • You’ll earn a certificate of completion with the potential of a letter of recommendation to the church or organization of your choice.

Our program is not accredited and is not intended to be a replacement for traditional college. Instead, we’re offering a targeted education to equip and develop young leaders who know their call is to full-time ministry within the local church and are looking to carry out that call right away.

NewSpring Leadership College is deeply tied to the day-to-day ministry of NewSpring Church. Instructors and guest speakers at the college are active leaders within ministry, and the hands-on training will come through partnering with ministries within the church.
